Crying for the Loss of Tears

Trembling screams and shattered dreams
Eyes fill up with water
As the soldiers go to war
Ready to main and slaughter

Children cry as parents leave, waving them goodbye
Rain or shine we get on board
Yet another day to die

Liberty is worth the pain
Of selfless sacrifice
So in the end we still prevail
Still willing to pay the price.
