I Cry

I cry sometimes
And pray nobody hears
I hide my face
So no one sees my tears
But those who see
Try to understand
They don't believe me
When I say why I'm sad
They tell me I'm wrong
For the emotions I feel
I should be happy
But faking it won't help me heal
I want someone to understand
I want someone to care
I don't want pity or competition
I just want to be treated fair
So if I cry, I hide my pain
So you don't have to worry
Because when they see me cry
They're always gone in a hurry.
