Climaxxx

It's a win-win situation...

Synopsis:  A board game, played with dice, a timer, and sexy cards. Starts out slow and ends with a BANG.

When we did manage to open the box and set it up, the rules were simple and easy to follow. You each get a playing piece and travel around the board, landing on various squares. The first ‘half’ of the game is the Passion section, consisting of relatively tame action cards. You play it clothed and only move on to the XXX section once you’ve both landed exactly on the last Passion square. Of course, you can only move on to the XXX once you’ve taken turns undressing each other.

The XXX section is both awesome and horrible. The hourglass that comes with the game is for three minutes. The action cards now have various sexual positions and treats on them. Most of the XXX cards have a little timer icon that indicates usage of the hourglass. You have to last the entire three minutes without climaxing. If one of you loses it before one of you has reached the end of the board (exactly again) that person is the loser. Otherwise, the first person to hit that last space wins and gets to name their terms.

Ranger won the first round, and it was a relief to be able to finally let go without having to worry about keeping my cool. Of course, half the fun of the game was each of us trying to force the other into being the ‘loser’, which of course isn’t much of a loss anyhow. Climaxxx is a game we’re definitely keeping handy. It took us about an hour and a half to play, so it’s a game you probably want to plan for a little bit before bedtime or when you have a good chunk of time to enjoy yourselves.

In short, Climaxxx is an absolutely wonderful game that never goes too far while still putting plenty of spice into an evening. It’s one we’ll play for a long, long time.
