Synopsis:  A well thought out site that delves deeper into the folds of human sexuality, while focused primarily on women.

 It’s hard to find one thing to write about when reviewing this site. In the first place, every time I visit to gather notes and opinions, I find something else that catches my attention and then I completely forget that I’m supposed to be writing. Although it’s not good for my writing, it certainly bodes well for the site.

The-Clitoris is a site that covers topics from A to Z (well, A to W at least) and covers them well. Research has obviously been done and is presented in a very healthy fashion, with a dose or two of personal opinion sprinkled in for good measure.

Viewers are given the option of loading the site with frames or without, making for a highly customizable experience. From technical aspects like anatomy and health to critically important self-discovery and body image commentaries, The-Clitoris is a well rounded source of wisdom and reassurance.

Although the site is mostly geared toward women, there are sections to be found all through the site that are written for men. Men’s questions are answered as readily as women’s in the FAQ section, and advice is given in a comfortable, non-degrading manner. Not once did we feel like we were being talked down to in any fashion, even with some seemingly elementary issues.

I think everyone can enjoy this site, from couples exploring their sexuality for the first time to seasoned sex veterans looking for answers to questions that have never been asked. Parents can appreciate the positive approach to the biological side of sexual development, and people who have shied away from really getting up close and personal with a woman’s genitals can take the opportunity to see a woman’s vulva and clitoris in great detail (and all its variations) without having to resort to hastily drawn graphics.

I would write more, but I’m being drawn back to the site to immerse myself in as much intellectual stimulation I can handle until I find myself needing to enjoy other stimulation as well!
